Training
Training in change, leadership and management tailored for charities.
Background
Good managers don't get there by chance.
Approximately 82% of new managers receive no formal management training.
You wouldn't expect someone to drive a car without driving lessons.
You wouldn't expect someone to play an instrument without tuition.
So how can we expect people to lead and manage without proper training?
My training courses are tailored for charities, and broken down into easy-to-understand concepts. I use proven leadership and management theory to help people understand the fundamentals, before using real-world charity examples and group discussion to develop understanding.
At the end of a course, delegates come away not only with a deeper understanding of the theory, but a genuine knowledge of how to apply it in their day-to-day role.

Content Overview: Based on the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBOK), this course introduces delegates to the fundamentals of change management and places them in a charity context. Using real-life charity examples, group discussion, and proven theory, this course will equip delegates with the basic knowledge needed to navigate a busy change environment at work.
Making Change that Sticks (Advanced)

Develop higher-level thinking in a charity context, see the bigger picture, and avoid sweating the small stuff
Duration: 1 day
Delivery: Remote or in-person
Content Overview: This course is aimed at those who are moving (or have moved) into a role that requires higher-level strategic thinking, and perhaps a move away from the more hands-on or day-to-day tasks of a previous role.
Delegates will explore different levels of decision making, how they work in a charity context, and how to work at the strategic level while staying connected to those at the coalface.
